Elderly Texas Couple Scammed Out Of Savings By Tech Support Scam

In this eye-opening episode on ScamTV, we dive deep into the heart-wrenching tale of Dennis and Joy, a senior couple from Texas, who fell victim to the devious tech support scam now know as the Phantom Hacker Scam. Join us as we unravel the shocking events that led to the loss of this couple’s life savings, leaving a stark warning for all.

Upon receiving a sinister message on his computer, supposedly from ‘Microsoft,’ Dennis was duped into believing that malware was filching his personal and financial data. Trusting the recognizable brand, he didn’t question the authenticity of the warning and, in a bid to salvage his digital security, inadvertently handed remote access of his computer to the very scammers he hoped to thwart. Watch the video to see how this sinister scam is implemented.
