U.S. Postal Warning: Text From Postal Service Is A Scam. Don’t Click!

Have you received a text message from the United States Postal Service (USPS) claiming you have an unclaimed package? Don’t click the link! It’s a scam!

In this video, USPS Inspector Andrea Avery explains how this international phishing scheme works and how to protect yourself from it. Clicking on the link in the text message will give the scammers access to your personal information, which they can use to steal your identity or bank account details.

Your phone or system may also become filled with malware. So don’t click the link and delete the text immediately.
